Flights to Las Vegas from Glasgow

Glasgow residents who need a fun getaway to Las Vegas have several travel options. There are no direct flights to Las Vegas from Glasgow, but it’s fairly easy to get to Sin City with just one connection either in the US or London. You can piece together the two flights in many ways, so the main factors boil down to budget and travel time. Sticking with one carrier for the entire journey, however, is highly recommended.

The best fares are found on British Airways (BA) and US Airways. Both take different routes to reach Las Vegas, but the cost is similar. British Airways flights from Glasgow to Las Vegas take longer than US Airways flights, with the two legs of the journey taking around 17 hours to complete. British Airways has a five-hour layover time in London so that can be big factor.

US Airways flies from Glasgow to Philadelphia then makes a transfer to Las Vegas. The fare on this flight is also good and the layover in Philly is just two hours, with a total travel time of less than 16 hours. Virgin Atlantic is the other carrier offering a non-stop London to Vegas flight but their fares are often significantly higher than BA or US Airways fares. A shorter layover time in London could be worth the extra cost, however.
