Airlines that fly to Las Vegas from the UK
Search for a flight to Las Vegas
The UK is one of the biggest sources of holidaymakers to Las Vegas, so there is an excellent range of flights from the UK to Las Vegas to help them get there. Nearly all major US and UK carriers operate regular service from the main UK airports, with the bulk of the flights originating from London. Depending on your budget and schedule, there should be no problem finding a flight that fits your needs.
There are only two daily non-stop flights to Las Vegas from the UK, but they are fast and depart every day of the week. British Airways runs its direct flight out of London Heathrow, departing at 16:25 and taking 10 hours, 30 minutes to reach Las Vegas. Factoring in the time difference, the BA flight arrives at 18:55, the perfect time to head right out onto the Strip after checking into your hotel.
Virgin Atlantic operates the only other daily non-stop flight from the UK to Las Vegas. Its flight departs out of London Gatwick every morning at 11:25, taking 10 hours, 45 minutes to get to Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport. This flight arrives in Vegas at 14:10 on the same day, which gives you time to relax by the pool before hitting the Strip. Virgin also operates twice-weekly direct service from Manchester to Vegas on Sundays and Thursdays.
The non-stop flights on BA and Virgin are by far the fastest and most convenient way to reach Las Vegas from the UK. They tend to be more expensive than indirect flights but considering the savings in travel time and energy, they are well worth it. Better yet, if you are travelling from a city other than London, it’s very convenient to stay with the same carrier for both legs of the journey. Both BA and Virgin have great connections to other cities around the UK, such as Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle.
Budget travellers have even more options in terms of affordable flights and airlines between the UK and Las Vegas. The only downside is the incredibly long travel time involved. One-stop flights to Vegas can be arranged from major UK airports to US destinations like Newark and Philadelphia on US carriers such as US Airways, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines. These flights require just one change of planes in the US, with layovers ranging from 1 to 5 hours. While it takes longer to reach Vegas, these flights can be significantly cheaper than the non-stop ones.
The cheapest travel option is to find a flight with two or more stops between the UK and Las Vegas. These flights can easily take up to 24 hours of travel time but are usually the lowest fares on the market. With two stops, most of the European carriers may be included in the schedule though you may find the flights head back to Amsterdam or Frankfurt before turning around and flying to the US. For these multi-stop flights, US carriers offer the most options.
